Keep the provider's answers, the booking details, payment proof, vaccination records, and every update in one folder. If a phone call changes the plan, summarize it in writing and ask the provider to confirm.

Should these questions be asked even for one night?
Yes. The length of a stay does not answer who is present, where the dog sleeps, or how an emergency is handled.
What if a provider refuses to answer in writing?
You can choose not to proceed. A clear written care plan protects both the owner and the provider from different assumptions.
